Sunny Donatus Ntuenibok, anipr, is a distinguished development practitioner, social entrepreneur, and advocate for human interdependence and capacity development whose work over the past sixteen years has transformed thousands of lives across the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
As the Founder, President / Project Manager of Sunrise Development International Initiative (SDI), established officially in 2015, he has championed a vision centred on discovering, developing, and deploying human potential through strategic skills transfer, empowerment programmes, mentorship, and sustainable community development initiatives.
Driven by the belief that people are the greatest assets of any society, Mr. Ntuenibok founded SDI to bridge gaps in opportunity, capacity, and access to development resources among underserved populations. Under his visionary leadership, the organisation has expanded its footprint across the Niger Delta, successfully implementing programmes in 25 Local Government Areas and positively impacting over 12,816 beneficiaries and counting.
Through SDI, he has facilitated numerous interventions in vocational skills acquisition, entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment, leadership training, educational support, livelihood enhancement, community mobilisation, and social inclusion — equipping citizens and non-citizens alike with practical skills to become self-reliant, economically productive, and socially responsible members of society.
